Strawberry Twinkie Torte

Items Needed:
- 1 box Hostess Twinkies
- 2 cups strawberry jam
- 1 package semi-sweet chocolate bits
- Shaved almonds
- Vanilla wafers - crushed
DIRECTIONS: Cut Hostess Twinkies lengthwise and line the bottom of a 13X9 inch pan. Heat strawberry jam until syrupy - about 45 seconds in the microwave. Pour jam over Hostess Twinkies, layer sliced strawberries on top. Melt chocolate bits slowly in double boiler until soft and creamy. Pour chocolate over strawberries, sprinkling with almonds and vanilla wafers. Refrigerate until set.
