Starry Nights SnoBall® Place Card Holder

What you need:

  • 2 metallic gold or silver dinner-size paper plates
  • 2 metallic gold or silver luncheon-size paper plates
  • 1 package (3.5 ounces) white Hostess® SnoBalls® (1 package makes 2 place card holders)
  • 1 tube of white decorator frosting • White edible cake sparkles or glitter
  • Silver nonpareils or star-shaped sprinkles
  • Your choice of glitter glue, metallic paint pens or other writing options. (The name card is non-edible and none of the decorations used on it should touch the SnoBall®.)

Cut star shapes out of the paper plates so there are 2 large stars and 2 small stars. Place the large stars on dessert plates and top each with a SnoBall® using a small amount of frosting as glue to secure to the star. Dust the SnoBall® generously with edible cake sparkles. Decorate as desired with silver nonpareils or sprinkles, using a small amount of frosting as “glue” to hold nonpareils or sprinkles in place.

On the 2 small stars, write a name on each and decorate as desired with glitter glue or metallic paint pen. Place edge of star into Sno Ball, positioning so name is easily read.
