Twinkies Bomb
I came up with this recipe for my goddaughter’s third birthday. It was a great activity for the kids to take part in—messy and fun.

Ingredients
- 6 Twinkies
- 1/2 cup raspberry jam
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream, slightly softened
- Fresh raspberries, for garnish (optional)
- Vanilla cream sauce or raspberry dessert sauce, for garnish (optional)
Directions
Line 4 parfait dishes with plastic wrap. Cut each Twinkies snack cake crosswise into 10 pieces. Arrange a layer of Twinkies snack cake pieces in each parfait glass, covering the bottom and sides. Spread the raspberry jam over the Twinkies snack cake, filling in any crevices. Spoon the ice cream into the center of each Twinkies-covered parfait. Arrange the remaining Twinkies snack cake pieces to completely cover the parfaits. Freeze for about 20 minutes, until firm.
Remove from the freezer and place upside down on dessert plates. Remove the dishes and peel the plastic wrap off each dessert. Garnish with raspberries and vanilla cream sauce and serve immediately.
